The Glasgow Bar Association were   saddened to hear of the Death of Deirdre MacNeill QC  who has passed away at the age of 65.  Ms MacNeill was admitted to Faculty in 1981 and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1994. She became a non-practising member in 1999 on her appointment as an all-Scotland floating sheriff.  She became a resident sheriff in Glasgow in 2000 and was admired and respected by all at the Bar. The GBA  sends our deep  condolences to Ms MacNeill’s family and friends.
