As you are aware, we are operating with reduced staffing levels and are dealing with a new court programme.

A number of solicitors are as a matter of routine sending in emails to both the generic email box and the civil email box.  This means that two members of staff are looking at the same email and working on it.

I appreciate that solicitors may be concerned that we may miss an email to a particular box, however we have put systems in place to prevent that from happening, albeit that from time to time errors can occur.

It would greatly assist if solicitors could please send their emails only once to the correct email box.

I would be very grateful if you would please let your members know that we are doing all we can to action the large number of emails we receive and that we will be able to manage that process more efficiently if we only receive one copy of each email.
