Dear Colleagues,
At the last meeting with the Sheriff Principal I had raised the question of having a running order for civil cases at Hamilton for Procedural Civil business, ie some indication of when the case might call. The Sheriff Principal made enquiries of cases calling as per the scotcourts list and it appears that it has caused some difficulties as per the undernoted. In these circumstances the clerks will seek to call the cases in alphabetical order as they appear on the court rolls. You will see some caveats upon that.
A couple of you have already provided some responses regarding these court callings. Any further feedback would be welcome. We are required to let the Sheriff Principal know what the agents’ position is on this and anyone who wishes to make any comments upon this, constructive of course, then please advise by 14th July.
Regards,
Mark O’Hanlon
