The Glasgow Bar Association – About

The Glasgow Bar Association is an organisation which represents Solicitors who practice in Glasgow. The Sheriff Court in Glasgow is famously the busiest in Europe and our members practice in both its criminal and civil courts regularly. We are the biggest association in Scotland and currently represent over 300 members. We have a dynamic programme of CPD and social events which are enjoyed by our members and members of the wider profession alike.

The Association was established in 1959 and continues to thrive. We welcome members from a diverse range of backgrounds and varying levels of experience from trainee members to senior practitioners from Glasgow’s well established firms.
